To design the user experience of Findify, a rigorous UX research method was implemented.
Competitive Research: An analysis of market leaders like Spotify and Deezer highlighted opportunities for differentiation. While these platforms are rich in options, they can sometimes confuse users seeking simplicity. Thus, the primary objective was to reduce complexity and enhance playlist creation.
Target Audience Research: A qualitative study revealed that users prioritized quick personalization. They want music recommendations that perfectly match their tastes without lengthy processes. Consequently, Findify focused on developing an algorithm capable of suggesting relevant tracks from just one to three reference songs.
User Testing:
Phase 1: Wireframes – The wireframes were tested to evaluate the clarity of the user journey and ensure that playlist creation felt smooth and intuitive.
Phase 2: High-Fidelity Prototype – Following the integration of visuals, additional tests validated the impact of the visual identity and interface on the user experience.
